Auckland - Beijing - Dubai (with 2 hr transfer in HK airport)

I am flying from Auckland to Beijing then on to Dubai. My Auckland to Beijing flight transfers in Hong Kong airport for a few hours, can I still get the 72 hr visa in Beijing?
