72 hr transit visa about trip: Auckland/Beijing/Auckland

hi
I am flying Auckland/Beijing/Auckland , then doing a tour which takes me out of china, I then fly back to Beijing from Tashkent to catch my return flight home again to Auckland
Will I qualify for the 72 hr free transit, I realise I need an ordinary V for my initial entry into Beijing, but the other flight from Tashkent is a connecting flight for my return flight to Auckland,
so I am thinking I will be ok so I am at beijing airport only for about 6-10 hours, same airline all the way through, china southern
thanks

Yes, you just need to apply for a single entry tourist L in advance. You can take advantage of this free transit for the second entry.
