Chinese Visa application questions

Hi. We are flying to China in approx one month. Please confirm which application do we use ? Online or the printed version?
Do we have to come in person or can we send the documents via taxi?
In China we will visit Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shangai. What kind of visa do we need?
I have an english passport and my mum a cypriot. What is the difference in fees?

Please confirm as soon as possible.

Georgia, as your information, you may need to apply for tourist type. Plus, I need to know which country you are going to apply for Chinese visa and then answer your other questions.
