About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour visa eligibility

I am US citizen: flying Japan to Beijing to Hong Kong to Japan. Am I eligible for 72 hour free visa? Thanks!

Yes, you are. Of course, I assume that you have written your stops in exact sequence. By the way, you are eligible for 144 hours visa free transit and not for "free visa". There is no any visa here. This scheme with 144 hours has replaced now obsolete 72 hours one.
