About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from Copenhagen-Beijing-Guangzhou and return

I'm attending a global wind summit in Yangjiang, Guangdong on the 1st and 2nd June 2019.
Arriving Beijing 31st May 11:55 and Guangzhou 31st May17:15
Departing Guangzhou 03rd June 09:35 and Beijing 03 June 14:50

Can I travel on 72-hour visa free and if yes from when does the time count?

Thank you for your assistance in advance.
Many thanks Ulla

You will need a visa for a trip to China. This is not a transit and there are multiple mainland Chinese landings. To get transit waiver you must be in transit non-stop from to a third country.
