About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

free tourist visa up to 144 hr

I had return ticket from Syd to Guangzhou and guangzhou to Sydey. Staying in Guangzhou for 10 days. how can I get the free visa entry? does it mean that I need to exit China before the 6 days to another country and come back in again?

I advise you to fly from Syd to Guangzhou. Arrange a day trip to HK in between, and then fly from HK to Guangzhou. Stay for another few days, then leave for Syd. In this case, you can possibly use the 144hrs visa free transit twice.

Advise provided by Helen is by far the best one. I would just like to add a few details here.

Qi you can take a train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, but you should obtain the ticket for this train before your departure from Sydney. You can make an online booking by visiting the Guangdong Line Fare - MTR Intercity Through Train website where you can book a train from Guangzhou East station to Hung Hom station in Hong Kong.

After your short stay in Hong Kong you have to return to Guangzhou by nonstop flight because the entrance to Guangdong province has to by by air.

Of course, the alternative to this twice 144 hours visa free transits through Guangdong province is to obtain Chinese tourist visa in advance.
