About:Visa on Arrival

New passport - Shenzhen voa from Hong Kong

I don’t have my old passport with me I only have my new one. Will I definitely get denied a voa at the Hong Kong/SZ border?

No, you will not get denied for this reason. You are eligible for SZ VOA, so just appear at relevant border crossing and bring with you a confirmation of accommodation booking in hard copy.
