About:Visa on Arrival

1 day trip from HK to Shenzhen for a German citizen

I'm German citizen and come for business negotiations to Hong Kong. The company would like me to visit it's research and development facilities in SZ at one of the days. I would return at the same day. Can I expect to obtain the 1 day or 5 day visa crossing the HK/SZ boundary without a significant time losses? Should I or the inviting company prepare anything?

Of course you can do it, but in order to secure your VOA, I strongly suggest that you book a hotel for one overnight although you will not stay there. A cheap one, but it will mean a lot during the process of obtaining your VOA.
