About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

colombian visa

I am from Colombia.
I was trying to find out information about the requirements for a Colombian. I am currenly living in Australia and I bought a flight from Australia that has one stop in Guangzhou on May 21 at 17:15 and departs on May 22 at 00:05. It means I will be in the airport around 7 hours.
My final destination is Spain but one of the stops of this flight is the stop in Guangzhou, And on the way back I will do the same stop in Guanhzhou on Saturday 22 of June 6:50 until Saturday 22 of June at 21:20. It means I will be in the airport for around 15 hours.
So I would like to know if I will be requiered to have a visa or if I can do those stops just with my Passport.

I would appreciate the information.

Your itinerary is perfectly eligible for 24 hours visa free transit and, as you have mentioned, you can travel through China by using your passport only. You will be covered by 24 hours visa free transit in each way of your travel plan. In case that you would like to exit airport in Guangzhou on your way back from Spain to Australia, you will apply for 24 hours free entry permit upon landing. You have to know that entry permits are upon discretion of immigration officials, but you have good chances to obtain one because you will have 15 hours during the entire daylight time.

Your both itinerary legs are perfectly qualified for 24 hours visa free transit and you need just your passport. Nothing else. I assume that you will not be willing to exit the airport during your first layover, but during your second one, having in mind that you will wait for 15 hours, you should apply for 24 hours free entry permit to exit the airport and to make a short tour around the city.
