Travel London (UK) to Beijing and flight back Beijing to Zurich (Switzerland)

Hello,

I was wondering if I qualify for a transfer visa if I fly from London to Beijing (with a layover either in Istanbul or Amsterdam) and then fly from Beijing to Zurich (potentially with a layover in another country)?

I will be travelling to a different country from where I departed but they are both in the same Region of Europe.

I will be staying in Beijing for maximum 48 hours and I am an italian citizen.
