region bound residence permits, internship
Hey
So I have a two year study residence permit for jiangsu for a master degree in jiangsu. I Don't have classes next year, just need to prepare my thesis by myself and present it in may. I want to do an internship in a consulate in an other region during a couple month, but apparently I would need a residence permit from the local region. Is it possible for me to obtain an authorization to do a internship in an other region, while keeping my current residence permit? If not, is it possible for me to exchange my current permit for another, without having to leave the country or get a new visa?
