About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for free transit policy?

Flying back to USA like this:

Chiang Mai- Changsha- Xiamen- Los Angeles.

Both of my layovers in China are around 4 hours each so I will not be in China for over 24 hours.

Any discretion in the path or airports listed above?

That should be fine assuming you are travelling on USA passport (there are restrictions for some nationalities at Xiamen).
