About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Going from Hong Kong to Hanoi through Shenzhen airport

Hi, I´m Argentinian, and I want to go from Hong Kong to Hanoi. The plan is to take a train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen airport, and from there, a plane to Hanoi. I wanted to know if there can by any problemas with this plan, since I´m arrivng by train and leaving by plane. Thanks!

The train will not work since immigration will not admit anyone without a visa. Your only choice is to cross on foot or by ferry through one of the ports and pay for a Shenzhen VOA at the border. A list of ports with VOA is found under the "visa on arrival" page of this site.
