About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Return flight from Shanghai with no visa

Hi! I am giving a talk in Shanghai, flying there from London and then planning on flying straight back to London afterwards. If I only stay for 48 hours (London-Shanghai-London), am I eligible for the free transit waiver?

Of course not. You need a visa for that.
