Beijing Capital Airport to RJ Brown Hotel - new subway station? easier by taxi?

Hello, we will be arriving at the airport on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. There are three of us traveling. What would the approximate cost be for a taxi to the hotel? Is there an app that would tell me that? If we decide to take the subway, how would we do it and what would that cost be? I understand there is a new station close to the hotel called Tianqiao on Line 8 but I haven't been able to find it on the subway map. Would we need local currency to pay for the subway or taxi? Thank you!

1. Generally speaking, it costs CNY120 to CNY130 by taxi. You are suggested to get an official cab at the airport.

2. Yes, the Tianqiao Station on Line 8 is nearby your hotel. Upon landing, you can take airport express to Dongzhimen Station first. It cost CNY25/person. Then take metro line 2 to Chongwenmen Station and metro line 5 to Ciqikou Station. Transfer to metro line 7 to Zhushikou Station and then take metro line 8 to Tianqiao Station. The ticket fare is CNY7/person. Afterwards, walk southwest around 250 meters to find your hotel. To be honest, this way would be a little bit complicated because of the transfers.

3. In addition, yes, you need to local currency RMB to pay for the taxi and subway.
