About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

San Francisco - Hong Kong - Beijing - Tokyo

I am flying from San Francisco to Hong Kong and staying 3 days then flying from Hong Kong to Beijing to begin a 9 day escorted tour of mainland China. On the 10th day I fly out of Shanghai to Tokyo to begin another escorted tour. Please confirm my eligibility for the 240 hour Visa free transit. Thank you.
