Valid route?

Hello,

Can anyone confirm for me if this is a valid route? I hold a British passport (United Kingdom):

Saturday 30th March Hong Kong to Beijing Capital arriving in China @ 10.25
Thurs 4th April Beijing Capital to Dublin, Ireland @ 01.30

Does Hong Kong definitely count as a separate and therefore valid location to mainland China?

Does it matter if the flights are with different airlines?

Thanks!

Different airlines and tickets are allowed. Hong Kong is considered third country. Make sure your flight Beijing to Dublin does not also land in Hong Kong or you won't be eligible.

Hi Paul. Thanks for your reply. The flight from Beijing to Dublin is direct and does not stop anywhere. Thanks!
