is it possible to visit shanghai city while we are on 17hr flight transit ( pudong

On 22/03/19 We arrive by 19.30 ( evening )and  we have 17Hr transit our flight departure on 23/03/19 13.00pm .We fly from Sydney to London ,Would like to visit to Jing'an Temple .What would be the best option for us ?

Yes, you can make full use of the layover to tour around the city. But you need to apply for the stay permit at the PVG first. About the transportation, take the maglev train to Longyang Road first. Then transfer to metro line 2 to Jing'an Temple.
