And do i have to registrate at police even though i don't have a visa in these 5 days?

Hello, i hope you can help me: i was in Shanghai for business trips and i slept in the apartment from my company (i did my registration at police station by myself). Now i flight to Japan --> Shanghai --> Germany. In these 5 days in Shanghai, i also want to sleep in the apartment from my company, is this allowed or do i need a hotel?
