It does not matter. You write your friend's address on the blank and then you can get a stay permit. After you get out of the airport, you need to ask your friend to guide you to registration at their local PSB with your passport and stay permit within 24 hours.

Yes, you can go on your own. You need to take your passport, visa (if any) or stay permit you get in the airport and your friend's household register or ID card to registrate.
