About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
144 hour Shanghai visa flying on to a 3rd country without entering 3rd country.
Hi, I live in Vietnam (US passport) and would like to go to Shanghai in April for 5 or 6 days to watch the F1. Would I be able to take advantage of the free 144 hour twov if I don't actually enter the 3rd country. For example, I'd like to fly directly from Vietnam to Shanghai and then transit in Bangkok or KL on the way back to Vietnam without actually clearing immigration in either of those countries.
