how long is an l visa valid for uk citizens?

Hi, I want to apply for a visa but I am not sure if Q2 or L is better. I am married to a Chinese citizen but we only go to China for short trips, not to live or stay for a long time. Please can you tell me how long the L and Q2 a valid for (for a UK citizen)?

If so, you can apply for a 2-year tourist L which costs the same as single-entry one. The 2-year one will allow you to enter and exit China for multiple times within 2 years. It will be preferable.
