About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 stops in China and visa inquiry

Hi there
I am an Iranian flying from Istanbul - Beijing - Guangzhou - Christchurch.
The arrival time in Beijing is 10:30pm Jan 05 and departure time is 11:30am Jan 06 (13 hours stop)
The arrival time in Guangzhou is 02:50pm Jan 06 and departure time is 12:50am Jan 07 (10 hours stop)
Do I need a transit visa?
I am confused as there are 6-7 persons who tell the 24 hours is the total layovers in one or multiple cities of China not from the first arrival in China to the last departure time in China.

24-hour TWOV is always measured from the scheduled arrival time to the first part of entry to the scheduled departure time from the last port of entry so you absolutely need a visa.
