I have a question about passport.

Someone told my sister that she had to turn her passport over when she entered China.? I've looked throughout the internet and I have not found any such thing.? Can someone clue me in on this? Please!!!

As I know, it is not true. During your visit in China, you need to take the passport on your own, and do not give your passport to anyone else. In some sightseeing sites, you only need to show your passport to the staff, and they will not take your passport.
