About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

I overstay in China 2015 can I come back in 2019

I overstay in China in the year 2015 for 2months and was sent to the detention house which after I paid my fine and came back to my country.. Can I use the same passport to come back to China in January 2019..

You can try to apply for a visa from the China embassy. If you can get it, you will be able to enter the country then.
