Flying into and out of Hong Kong from UK

I'm hoping to visit my son who is working in China (Changsha) however I will fly into and out of Hong Kong the duration in total will be about 19 days. I will be meeting up with him and travelling around Hong Kong Beijing and Shanghai can anyone tell me if I will need entry permit to visit? I am a UK citizen.
