You can have a try, but I’m afraid it is difficult to get multiple entries when you don't make the application in your home country.

Hi Jayne,

I'm a Malaysian working in Singapore. I try to apply for double entry visa to China as I will be travelling to China and then go to Japan. I will return to China again after Japan trip. The officer require black and white proof for the going to Japan eg: flight information and hotel reservation.

Even I tell her that I want to apply double entry visa as I may be travelling to China again perhaps after 2 months but not sure the date yet. She insist only single entry visa is allowed for travel purpose.

Perhaps what she meant was if the purpose that I going to China is to visit relatives, then double entry visa is allowed.

Hope this helps you. =)
