About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this planned journey allowed?

I am planning to do: Glasgow to Dublin to Doha to Beijing to Osaka. I understand this one will be fine, and I plan to use the 240-hour transit-free policy since I want to visit Beijing for a few days. However, my question is the journey following this one. So after my time in Japan (2 weeks later), I return back home (Glasgow) via: Tokyo to Beijing to Doha to Dublin to Glasgow. Would this be allowed?
I ask this in the sense of:
1: using the visa-free transit policy twice within 2 weeks of each other
2: I'm going back to Doha (Qatar) on the second journey. Would their system indicate I was already there two weeks prior and that I have to go to another country, not Qatar, even though it's a completely different journey and still only used for transit since my end destination is Glasgow (Scotland)?
3. Stupid Question, but I imagine if you have someone travelling with yo,u it doesn't matter and still the same rules?

Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Adam, your journey is allowed and it completely and ideally satisfies all the rules imposed by 240 hour visa free transit. 1. You are allowed to enjoy 2 x 240 hour visa free transit within the very short time frame. There is no any obstacle to do that even if your stay in Osaka was for just one day. 2. Those two journeys are totally separate things and it really does not matter where you will depart to as long as your immediate points before and after mainland China are located in two different countries or eligible territories (eligible territories are Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau). Your two journeys are fine and you can proceed with absolute peace of mind. 3. If someone is traveling with you all the rules that apply to you will be applied to that person as well. There is nothing additional in this regard that would be different from your treatment or the treatment of two or three or four of you. This is all fine and definitely all eligible. Now, you should just pack your luggage and enjoy your journey.
