About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144h transit visa Shangai

Hello,
I have a flight Madrid Shangai-Madrid from 27 Nov to 24 Dec but i’m going to stay in Shangai until 2 of December, then i’ll go to Hong Kong then more places and not coming back to Shangai until 23 of December to stay one night night and flight back to Madrid.
My question is should i need a visa or can i use the free transfer 144h to enter two times in Shangai, first time from Madrid 27 Nov second time 23 of December?

Yes you can transit Shanghai twice and you can have separate tickets. Just make sure you actually take the flight to Hong Kong otherwise they will consider you an overstayer.
