About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Hello, I'm flying from JFK into Beijing Capital Airport with a 1 hr layover to go to BKK.

The airline is Air China so I should be in T3 for both flights. Will I need to go through a customs or secondary security check upon arriving in PEK to catch my next flight out of PEK in the same terminal? Is 1 hr sufficient?
