About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour free transit. I am Australian and will be in Vietnam.

Can I travel from Vietnam to Guangzhou and then back to Vietnam and apply for a transit visa if I only say for 48 hours ?

No. Because your trip is not a transit.
