Can I apply S by using my husband Z visa

Hi.. my husband will be working in Chengdu, China for 9 months in Jan. So, may I allow to apply the S by using his Z or must wait until he gotten his residence permit? do advise, thanks

You are supposed to wait and use his Chinese residence permit to apply for your S type. Or you can try to ask if you can use the invitation letter from his company for the application.

It's could be possible to change the L type into S type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB after your entry. You can have a try.

His work permit will need about 1 month after entering. If this is the case, I will not able to travel together with him? or can I enter with tourist L and apply the S in China?
