About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa 24 required for transit?

I fly from Vietnam to Beijing Airport at 11h30 AM 29/12/2018, transit to 11h55 PM same day and fly to Newyork, i am a Vietnam Citizen, how can i get a free visa transit to visit around Beijing?

Inform the airlines when boarding – Fill an Arrival/Departure Card on the flight - Apply the free transit – Claim the luggage – Go through the custom - Leave airport.
