Beijing Airport 24 hour free transit to get sleep in Terminal 3

My wife and I are Canadian citizens. We are flying from Toronto to Auckland and our baggage will be checked to Auckland. We have 8 hour layover in Beijing. We want to catch some sleep before taking our next flight at the airport. Can we get 24 transit free transit to find a room with beds in Terminal 3? Please help. Thanks.

Thank you very much. Is it correct that I will not be required to take my checked-in baggage from Toronto to Auckland through Chinese customs?

If your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly, then you don't need to take your checked-in baggage from Toronto to Auckland through Chinese customs.
