Hi,

I hold a Malaysia Passport. I am travelling to Haneda Airport from Singapore Changi airport to Pudong International Airport and transit to Hong Qiao International airport to Haneda International Airport. Transit time is approximately 4 and half hours. Do I need a visa? Thank you for your advise.

Information regarding Malaysians has been murky for years so you'd better call immigration to find out. However data point from 2017 claimed that Malaysians cannot leave the transit area without a visa, while many were refused boarding when traveling on Mainland Chinese airlines which do not always follow Tiamtic rules.
