About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bangkok- Guangzhou - HK

I travel from Bangkok to Guangzhou by air, leave China by car/train to Hong Kong and then Bangkok again. I am eligible for a 24h free entry?

Technically you can if traveling by train, however that requires a confirmed train ticket purchased prior to arrival. Immigration may also turn you away if they are not convinced that you are a genuine traveler. Traveling by private cars is not an option.
