About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Coming off a flight from KL and departing 1hr10min later on same plane at Capital Airport

I will be arriving on a Malaysia Airlines flight at 0020 and departing on the same aircraft back to Kuala Lumpur at 0130 (the point of the trip is frequent flyer miles!). What are the transfer procedures in this instance? Is it possible to head straight to the departure gate upstairs after leaving the aircraft, thereby bypassing the transfer desk?

70 minutes are enough for you to make the transfer and you also need to follow the transfer steps as below. Nice trip.
Here under is the detailed transfer procedures:
Flight Arrival → Transfer Procedures → Border Inspection →Customs Inspection → Going through Transfer Formalities → Waiting & Boarding
