Indian traveling from Australia to india

Hi travelling from Australia to india.. hold an indian passport .. layover of 9 hrs in Shanghai.. what is required

You can do the 24 hour direct transit but will need to remain in the airport. Just need to show ongoing reservation when you do the airside transfer
