About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel from Bangkok to Shang Hai for 3 days and then Shang Hai to Germany

Can i use 72 hrs free transit if I am travel from Bangkok to Shang Hai for 3 days and then Shang Hai to Frankfurt? I am German citizen.

Yes, but you can now stay even longer up to 144 hours. Just make sure Shanghai is the only city in China you have landings in.
