About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Amsterdam to Beijing then Hong Kong

If i arrive in Beijing, can i visit Qingdao for 2 days and leave Beijing for Hong Kong?

No. If you apply for free transit in Beijing, you are not allowed to go to Qingdao.

If I need to Qingdao, and there is no direct flight from Amsterdam.
I fly from Amsterdam , transfer in Beijing and then to Qingdao afterwards to Hong Kong.
Can I get a 72 hours free transit in Qingdao then?

No. You won’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit because the 72 hour policy only allows the traveler to transit in one Chinese city. Two stops in China limit you to 24h twov.
