About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Zurich - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Zurich

My travel agency says that the route Zurich - Hong Kong, one night including a hotel booking in Hong Kong, next day to Shanghai for meetings and the day after back to Zurich is not accepting a 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. I don't believe that if i read your website and explanation.
Thanks for your feedback on this. Thanks!

HK-Shanghai-Zurich is clearly fine unless there's another stop you don't know about. Your agents probably thought that HK is a Mainland Chinese city when it is clearly not. HK is an international destination for immigration and customs purposes.
