flying into beijing

Hello

We are planning 8 days private tour f china. We have noticed that trip begins from Beijing but ends in Shanghai, normal routine of air flights is to arrive and depart from same airport, So if we arrive at Beijing then how do we reach beijing.
We will be flying in from Canada but will travel to pakistan after completing our tour.
