About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a Visa? I am flying into Hong Kong from San Francisco on US passport.

Same day flying to Shanghai. Will be in Shanghai for 2 days and then board cruise ship for Japan. Will end cruise 14 days later in Hong Kong. Will fly out of Hong Kong next day back to San Fran.

You don't need it as you avail of the 144h twov in Shanghai. Nice trip.
