About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Visa for Australian citizen

I am doing a cruise that stops at Xiamen and Hong Kong. Do I need entry permits for these cities?

You don't need a visa for HK, and if you are flying/traveling Country A - Xiamen(24 hours) - Country B then you don't need to apply for visa for Xiamen, either.
