Flying drones at Mount Huashan?

Hi,

I'm visiting the Mount Huashan next October 18 and wondered if I would be able to fly my drone there (or is it a restricted area for flying it) any help/tip will be much appreciated.
Have any of you ever seen anyone flying drones there? Is it busy early in the morning? (I don't fancy landing it on top of people's head...)

Well, it’s not specified about that but I think it may be dangerous at the steep parts, so you are not suggested to do that. Anyway, here is the official number, and you may call them for an answer: 400-0913-777
The day you go to the scenic area is not among the peak tourist time, and there won’t be many visitors. Nice Trip!

Generally speaking, there is not any rules to prohibit it and I have seen someone flying it before. However, the wind is strong and it is a little crowded on the top of the mountain, so you need to be more careful.

Hi, many thanks for the info and for your time!! I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably get the drone with me all the way along and fly it if its not too windy and busy up there. Just wanted to check if there is any signage at the main entrance saying "no drones" or something similar. When did you go there? Cheers!

I didn’t see any signage and I went there in 2016. However, it is better to affirm it with the staff in the scenic area. Hope you have a nice journey.
