About:2 Days Tours

Eligibility for 144 hour visa expemtion

Am I eligible for visa exemption based on flying from Geneva, Switzerland via Amsterdam to Hong Kong, staying there for 8 days then taking a return flight from Hong Kong to Beijing with 4 days in Beijing. I then fly back from Hong Kong to Geneva via Amsterdam.

According to my experience, you are not eligible for 144-hour visa exemption if your flight route is Hong Kong - Beijing - Hong Kong. The visa free policy is applicable to the passengers who go from one country to another country while transiting in one of the permitted areas in China.
