144 hours visa free Beijing

I am travelling Stockholm - Beijing (direct flight), then Beijing - Kuala Lumpur (direct flight) - Stockholm. I got answer that i can qualify for the 144 hours visa free provided NO STOP in. Beijing and EVEN third country Malaysia. I plan to stopover 10 days in MALAYSIA after Beijing. Please clarify.
