Two layovers, I am traveling from LAX in USA to Indonesia, with two layovers in China

5am - 5pm Qingdao and then 8pm - 6am Xiamen. Both are cities that allow for 24 hour free transit, but I am not having luck on knowing if it's okay to have two of these stops. Can anyone please help? We've called China immigration, Visa office, airlines, etc. Thank you!
