About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Im traveling to Hanoi from San Francisco with 2 layovers in China.

I am a US citizen traveling to Hanoi rom San Francisco. I have two layovers in China, 1st in Wuhan were I have to wait 3 hours for my next flight to Guangzhou and 10.30 hours in Guangzhou before my last flight to Hanoi. Just to confirm that I am eligible for the visa-free transit Hanoi

No, I’m afraid you cannot enjoy the free transit then. You need to apply for a transit G type for that.
