About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144h free transit Germany-Shanghai-Czech Republic

I want to travel from Germany to Shanghai. Stay there for 144h and fly back to Czech Republic. Is that possible?

Is there any restriction for non direct flights to Shanghai? For example Berlin-Paris-Shanghai and Shanghai-Czech Republic?
Or is this another possible way: Berlin-Paris-Shanghai and Shanghai-Germany?

Thank you in advance!

Only your flights immediately before and immediately after China are relevant. The other flights on your itinerary don't matter. So France-Shanghai-Germany on non-stop flights, for example, is fine. You must not have any other stops in China, and you must not depart to the country you arrived from.
